Which E-Day trainers exist?

Searches for an E-Day trainer turn up dozens of sites, but only a few are maintained by known publishers that update after each patch. These are the ones we could verify, checked on October 12, 2026.

Cheat Happens has updated its trainer with each E-Day build: its list runs from the launch version through builds dated October 2, 6, 7 and 8, with a second October 8 update posted on October 9. The original launch-day trainer supported Steam only; later builds added the Windows Store and Game Pass versions. WeMod's options are covered in detail on our WeMod page.

What the Cheat Happens trainer includes

The current Cheat Happens build lists twelve main options. The most useful ones for the campaign are the classic survival and ammo toggles, but it also adds tools WeMod does not have, such as teleporting and unlocking chapters.

• Survival: Unlimited Health and related player options.
• Weapons: Unlimited Ammo, No Reload, Perfect Reloads and Rapid Fire.
• Tactical gear: Fast Tactical Gear Cooldown.
• Movement and position: Save/Load Position, Teleport Forward and Shrink Player.
• Game: Game Speed and Unlock All Chapters.

Unlock All Chapters is the option most players actually want, because it lets you jump to a late chapter for collectibles without replaying the campaign. You do not need a trainer for that if you have already finished the story: chapter select opens every chapter you have reached. Our chapter list shows where each collectible-heavy chapter falls.

Easy Anti-Cheat: the real risk

E-Day ships with Easy Anti-Cheat on PC and needs an online connection even for the campaign. That changes the trainer question. In a solo campaign session the realistic risk is low and both trainer publishers target that mode. In Horde Siege and Versus, memory editing is exactly what anti-cheat is built to detect, and a ban would hit your Microsoft account, not just one copy of the game.

• Only use trainers in solo campaign. Do not keep one running when you switch to Horde Siege, Versus or online co-op.
• Close the trainer completely before multiplayer, including its tray icon, then restart the game.
• Avoid anti-cheat bypass launchers. Tools that disable Easy Anti-Cheat are a bigger risk than the trainer itself; see our mods page for why.
• Expect breakage after patches. A trainer built for an older build may crash the game rather than fail quietly. Check that its version matches yours.

How to spot a fake trainer

Popular new releases attract fake trainer downloads, and E-Day is no exception. Results on video sites and file hosts often promise "no ads, no install" trainers. Signs that a download is not what it claims:

• It asks you to turn off your antivirus or Windows Defender before running.
• It comes as a password-protected archive, with the password in a video description.
• It claims to work on Xbox consoles. Trainers are PC-only; consoles do not allow them.
• It claims to unlock Premium Edition items, Supply Cache unlocks or multiplayer currency. Those are server-side and cannot be granted by a local trainer.

Stick to the publisher's own website or app for downloads. Both Cheat Happens and WeMod list the exact game build each trainer supports and distribute through their own sites and apps; a standalone .exe passed around on a forum or file host has no such check and no way to verify who built it. The same goes for "unlocker" tools that promise free DLC or Premium Edition early access — those are not trainers at all.

If you have already run something suspicious, disconnect, run a full antivirus scan and change your Microsoft and Steam passwords from another device.

Trainer in other languages (트레이너)

Korean and other non-English players search for the same thing — 기어스 오브 워 E-데이 트레이너 — and the same rules apply. Both Cheat Happens and WeMod work with any game language, because they modify values in memory rather than text. Region does not matter; the store version does, so match the trainer to Steam or the Xbox app.

Trainers and achievements

Neither trainer publisher states that it blocks achievements. Achievements are tracked by your Microsoft account, so anything you unlock while using a trainer is recorded like any other. If you care about a clean record, play difficulty achievements without one. For collectible achievements it matters less: Memories From E-Day accepts any difficulty anyway.

Easier ways to get through the campaign

Many people looking for a trainer are stuck on one fight. Before installing anything, try the built-in options: drop to a lower difficulty (most completion achievements accept any difficulty), bring in a co-op partner, and swap to weapons that suit the boss.
