What this site is
Gears of War: E-Day Wiki is an independent, fan-made guide site for Gears of War: E-Day, the 2026 prequel from The Coalition and People Can Fly. We write about the campaign walkthrough, collectibles, weapons, Horde Siege, PC performance, editions and platform questions. We have no affiliation with Microsoft, Xbox Game Studios, The Coalition or People Can Fly.
How we source information
Each page is built from sources we can name, and every claim carries one of three labels:
- Official — taken straight from Xbox, gearsofwar.com, Xbox Wire, the Xbox Store or the Steam store page. Dates, prices, edition contents and system requirements come from here.
- Official + press — an official statement that hands-on press coverage confirmed or added detail to, such as campaign length measured by reviewers.
- Press reports — something widely reported but not officially published. We say who reported it instead of presenting it as fact.
If sources disagree, we show each position and who holds it. If a value is unknown, we leave it unknown — we never fill gaps with guesses, invented numbers or made-up codes.
Time-sensitive answers
Some answers only hold true on a given date: review averages, Steam user scores, player counts, stock levels and promotions all move after launch. Those pages show the date they were checked so you can judge how fresh they are.
